"I costumi, le leggi e le usanza di tutte le genti ." written by Giovanni Boemo Aubano.The Italian translation for the three books about Europe, Asia and Africa was done by Lucio Fauno. The fourth book about America was translated into Italian by Girolamo Giglio.

This book is an incredible compilation dealing with the customs, manners, habits and dress of different peoples around the world. The first three books cover Africa, Asia and Europe. The fourth and perhaps most interesting and ground breaking book describes America, its inhabitants and their customs. The book names Cuba, Florida (so names because it was discovered on a flowering Easter day), the Yucatan, the sea, the coast of Venezuela, Taraquil, pearl island, Nicaragua, and Peru , Quito and the Canary Islands, Indians who worshiped emeralds, and many minor islands, their inhabitants and customs.

Three small marks from a sharp object that caused three small holes akin to wormholes that gradually become smaller and disappear after page 85. The page edges of 7 leaves are lightly bent. Small loss to the corner of one leaf (see the photo). Some light dampstain, but is still a good copy of an incredible rare book about America.
