The Compendium of Cookery and Reliable Recipes...1890. This antique cookbook is TWO Complete Volumes in One. The most of the book is together but it is rough, (browned and torn out pages in front and some in very back). It was in a fire but since it was packed away it has no fire damage. I believe the pictures show its condition more than my description. This cook book was my great-grandmothers and then my grand-mothers then mine. I have had it over 40 yrs. packed away. There are some very old handwritten recipes and newspaper clippings.
