Antique Family Catholic Bible 1876 Leather Thomas Kelly You are bidding on an antique family Catholic bible over one hundred and thirty years old, printed one hundred years after the United States declared its independence! The cover consists of very thick embossed leather boards measuring 12 1/2" x 10". The cover of the spine is intact but does show some wear. The name Maggie Dailey is in gold lettering toward the bottom. The pages are gold edge which is still in very nice shape. The book is beautifully illustrated with some truly outstanding black and white engravings throughout. The interior text is in very good shape. There are not any missing pages. The bound content of the text is still tight and intact. There is some expected wear as well as nominal water damage to some of the pages. The family record pages have been written in. The Marriage Certificate page is filled in and there is are several entries on the birth page. The Family Portrait pages have some antique photographs in them.
