It is alot of items that belonged to James H. Howard. Now I know he fought the japanese as a Flying Tiger and ended up being a Bri. General. And I metal of honor winner for his fighter pilot abilities during WWII. The things here are an old bank book of his from 1938 1938, a music book black with some kind of song i am guessing that he was writing, paper work from the Pomona college. And a diary telling about some of his experiences going from San diego to toungoo. It is very interesting to say the least. I don't know if there is any of these diarys left in the general public or not. A lot of history about things in the live of US pilots that left the military and when to fight on their own. There also is a greeting card like book from the Inter America House with lots of best wishes inside from other military personal. he also must of went to the Pomona college because there are some paper work from the 1937's 1 is on Genetics , political science, Psyclogg , political institions, publis opion and so on. There is also a booklet that he was schooled in that says unemployment and its remedies individualism and socialism and recent trends. This man lived in a town call Belleair that is just about 5 miles from here. Also at the st peterburg Clearwater airport here in this eara that have a tribute to him inside a glass display case, kind of a local hero to this area. All I can say is take a good look at my pictures everything you see is in this auction and it all is original. The autographs alone is worth more that the starting price let alone the diary of his acount that is 55 pages of what he went thru and I doubt if there is any left in the public to buy.
