Medieval Illuminated Manuscript — Spectacular Picture(s) and Description:
A leaf from a Book of Hours, /ellum, written in France around 1480. In the margins is a very nice decoration of flowers and acanthus leaves; The magnificent block with floral ornaments in burnished gold, and in various rich colours is in remarkably good state.
The pictures cannot convey the rich colour and beautiful luster of the gold!
